About Shiok! Singapore Kitchen

Shiok! Singapore Kitchen has returned to the community at its new location on Oak Grove Avenue, Menlo Park. Originally founded in 1999 by Maggie Lim, who began cooking the Singaporean dishes she grew up with for friends after moving to the U.S., the restaurant quickly outgrew its first space and became a beloved fixture on Chestnut Street for over two decades.

Central to their success is a collection of recipes curated from their grandmother's kitchen, rooted in her rich Peranakan heritage. These time-honored culinary treasures infuse every dish with a distinctive, authentic flavor that pays homage to their family's enduring culinary traditions.

About Mama Judy

Born and raised in Singapore, Judy loves sharing authentic Singaporean flavours with the Bay Area community. Every dish is made with care, passion, and the same love she would serve her own family.

Bringing a taste of Singapore to you, one meal at a time.

About our Sponsor: Yeo's

The whole story began with a small family owned shop that made soy sauce products back in 1900 in China. When soy products grew popular in Southeast Asia in 1930’s, the business moved to Singapore where our products grew to become an important part of many families’ daily cooking and diet.

As the story went by, many beloved products were born in the next few decades, from traditional soy bean drink, tea, fruit juices, curry gravy, chili sauce, seasonings, spices to noodles. In our belief, there is no stopping for creativity, experimentation and innovation.

Today, we are proud to be recognized as a trust worthy multi-national company beyond Asian horizons. One could easily find our products in countries such as United States, Europe, Australia, Indonesia, Canada, China, and Hong Kong, Vietnam and more. As many of us are on the hunt for healthier beverage alternatives nowadays, we can’t wait to bring some unique, healthy flavors to you all.
